Opposition demands `15 lakh compensation to kin of victims
Leaders of Opposition parties on Friday demanded that the government pay compensation to the families of those who died in tractor-trolley accident of Padamti Thanda.Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy, TTDP president L Ramana, who visited the accident spot, expressed their grief over the incident.

After interacting with the family members of the deceased and villagers, they demanded that the government pay at least Rs 15 lakh each to the next kin of the deceased. They also demanded that the government help the victim families as much as possible under various government welfare schemes.
They demanded stringent action against the tractor driver. CPI-M leader Julakanti Ranga Reddy and BJP district unit president Nukalal Narsimha Reddy also demanded that the government do justice to family members of the deceased.
