Khammam: Founder President of the Telangana Private Teachers Federation (TPTF) Shabbir Ali here on Sunday alleged that the managements of the private and corporate schools are treating the teachers working in them as slaves and are exploiting them.

The representatives of the TPTF took out a massive rally from TNGOs function hall to the District Collectorate through Rotarynagar raising the slogans against the managements of private School and later a meeting was held at TNGO’s function hall.

Speaking at the meeting, Shabbir Ali said thousands of private teachers, working in private and in corporate schools, are being paid meagre salaries. The teachers are being ill-treated and treated as slaves. They are forced to work from morning till late hours, he said.

The teachers are suffering from health problems because of pressure exerted on them by the managements, he said.He demanded that the government take initiative and ensure that the teachers working in private schools are paid salaries commensurate with their work.

TPTF representatives K Rama Rao, A Nirupama, Sanjay, Shakeena, T Shoba Rani, N Narayana, Ch Suribabu, S Ganesh, P Swamy, Yakub, Rasheed Khan, Venkat, Chandu, Vijay Bhaskar, V Balaji, R Naga Bhushanam, G Vamshi and Srinivas were present.
