Khammam: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leaders are leaving no stones unturned to make the visit of Minister Information Technology, Municipal Administration and Urban Development K T Rama Rao a grand success in Khammam district on April 9.
Rama Rao along with Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, Health Minister C Laxma Reddy and Housing Minister Indrakaran Reddy, besides MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, will participate in various programmes. The Ministers will lay foundation stones for several development works.
TRS district unit leaders are making efforts to organise a public meeting in Khammam. They have started preparations to mobilise people for the meeting.
The office-cum residence of Khammam MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar built at a cost of Rs 1 crore will to be inaugurated by the IT and Municipal Minister K T Rama Rao.
The office area on the ground floor consists of a reception room, MLA chambers, a meeting hall, two rooms for personal secretaries and a VIP waiting hall, while the residential areas on the first floor consists of three bedrooms, a hall, kitchen, prayer room, balcony, etc.
The construction of office-cum residences is intended to enable the people in the constituency to have access to their elected representatives, said the MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar.
