Car catches fire due to short circuit

Kothagudem: A moving car on Tuesday afternooncaught fire when it was on MuredduVagu bridge, the main road in the coal town. The car owner, Shafi, was going to his house when the incident occurred. The incident caused heavy traffic jam.

Immediately after observing the fire, Shafi jumped off the car. The locals tried to douse the fire but failed. They called for a fire brigade. The fire officials rushed to the spot and controlled the fire. But by that time the flame engulfed the car.
