Seasonal fruits available in the forest area is helping the tribal women to earn their livelihood. One can see these women selling different types of fruits, brought from the forest, in the market and roadside also, mainly in coal town, Palvoncha, Yellandu, Aswaraopeta and Bhadrachalam.

These women will go into the forest in the early hours daily to collecto fruits and sell them to the town people. Lakshmi, a tribal woman of Lakshmipuram village, said that their business is seasonal only. Normally we get Rs 500 per day in season for one basket of fruits, she said.
