Nalgonda: Deputy Commissioner of Transport Mamindla Chandrashekar Goud here on Monday urged the people to follow the traffic rules to avoid accidents and save the lives.
The Deputy Commissioner, along with RTA official Suryapet Madusudhan Reddy and officials in Bhongir RTA Surender Reddy, released a poster of 29th Road Safety Week in Nalgonda.
Speaking on this occasion, Chandarshekar Goud said the slogan coined for this year Road Safety week is “ Sadak Suraksha – Jeevan Raksha (Road safety – Security to life).
The Road Safety Week will be observed in the erstwhile Nalgonda district between April 23 and 30. Awareness programmes will be conducted during the Road Safety Week, the officials said.
