DCC chief slams TRS govt over Rythu Bandhu scheme
AICC member and DCC president B Bikshamaiah Goud said that the State government’s much hyped Rythu Bandu Scheme would end up only in helping the rich farmers while the small and marginal farmers would be left in the lurch.

Participating in the party house to house campaign at Timmapur village of Bommala Ramaram mandal in the district on Tuesday, he debunked the Rythu Bandhu scheme as an election stunt only to grab the votes of farmers by misleading them. He lashed out at the TRS government for completely ignoring the people’s problems and showing more interest on receiving kickbacks from the contractors in the irrigation projects.
He predicted that people would teach a befitting lesson to the dictatorial and betraying TRS government in next elections and expressed the hope that the Congress would come back to power at both the State and the Centre. He assured the farmers that the Congress government would waive off the Rs 2 lakh agriculture loans if voted to power in 2019. Several Congress leaders and activities were present on the occasion.
