Centre trying to dilute SC, ST Act: MRPS
MRPS founder President Manda Krishna Madiga here on Wednesdaycriticised the Central government for trying to “dilute the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. He expressed his opposition to the Supreme Court judgement that there would be no automatic arrest under the Act.

Leaders of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes organisations said “We have to keep our differences aside and fight for categorisation of Scheduled Castes” Speakers said the Dalitha, Girijana Simha Garjana would be held in Warangal on May 27. They appealed to the people to make the meeting a success.
