The victory of socialist leader Nicolas Maduro for the second consecutive time as Venezuela President has demonstrated that there were no prospects for the Left, according to Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) leader Yerra Srikanth here on Tuesday.

A meeting was held under the leadership Bhukya Srinivas Rao here at Three Town Committee office here to celebrate the event. Speaking on the occasion, Srikanth said the Communist parties would continue to hold sway as inequalities persisted in the society.
Nicolas Maduro of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela is one of the greatest leaders of the world, He started his journey as bus driver and strived to become President of Venezuela. The opposition parties could not oust him despite plotting to overthrow the socialist government. CPI-M party leaders T Lingaiah, V Nageshwar Rao, S Veerababu, M Mallikarjun, Lakshminarayana and Upendra Chary were present.
