The City Mayor Papa Rao and City Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Jha announced hike in salary of the municipal workers.

The representatives of the Municipal Workers Union organised celebrations on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Bhaskar said the municipal workers had secured hike in salary after four-year long struggle. The salaries of the municipal workers were increased to Rs 12,000 a month. City mayor Papa Lal and Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Jha, after having discussions with the various working unions, announced hike in salary for the workers.

The representatives of the various working unions along with the municipal workers should fight unitedly, Bhaskar said. The Municipal workers conveyed their thanks to the City Mayor Papa Lal and Municipal Commissioner Sandeep Kumar Jha on the occasion.

Secretary of the IFTU J Ramaiah, the Secretary of AITUC S Narasimha Rao, INTUC leader Deepak Chowdari, the leaders of the Municipal Workers Union Tumma Vishnu Vardhan, Viplav Kumar, Md. Pasha, M Venkateshwarlu, J Lakshminarayana, T Ramulu, N Krishna and J Srinu were present at the programme.
