Nalgonda: District Collector Gaurav Uppal here on Tuesday directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for devotees to offer prayers at mosques during the Ramzan month.
The Collector was conducting peace committee meeting with police, Revenue and Municipal officials, Muslim elders to review the arrangements made during Ramzan month.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector promised to make necessary arrangements at all mosques in the district. He said repairs would be carried out for mosques, if necessary. He said the officials would provide drinking water at all mosques.
Stating that the government had sanctioned Rs 15 lakh for repairs to mosques in the district, he said orders would be issued to address the water and lighting issues.
He directed the Joint Collector and District Civil Supplies officials to look after the matters pertaining to distribution of LPG cylinders and sugar.
