A district-level meeting was held under the leadership of District president Pindiprolu Ramurthy here at BC Sankshema Sangham office.

Speaking at the meeting, Sathyanarayana said successive government had been neglecting BCs. Under the leadership of National President R Krishnaiah, all the backward castes people should fight unitedly to achieve political, he urged.

The TRS government, he said, had not sanctioned BC Corporation and MBC loans during the past four years. The government woke up after four years and invited from the candidates for sanctioning loans.

The government provided reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Minorities in allotment of double bedroom housing scheme, but no quota was fixed for the neglected BCs, he alleged.

Association district unit President Ramurthy alleged that only the rich people and farmers secured Rythu Bandhu benefits. He demanded that the government extend the scheme to tenant farmers too.

Representatives of the association Hari Kishore Goud, Ravi Goud, Raghu Babu, Chandrashekar, Rama Rao, Ramana Kumar, Venkatachary, Sathyanarayana, Srinivas Goud, Babu Rao, Rama Krishna, Srinivas Yadav and Shaik Shakeena were present.
