Police conduct cordon and search operation in Yadagirigutta

Yadagirigutta: The police on Thursday conducted cordon and search operation at Angadi Bazaar, Backward Classes colony, in Yadagirigutta.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ramachandra Reddy along with Assistant Commissioner of P Samudrala Srinivasa Charyuluand 125 police personnel, including CIs and Sis,carried out the operation in the colonies and seized 38bikes, 3 auto-rickshaw, a car and atractoras the owners failed to produce valid documents.
Police took six history-sheeters, six illegal couples, five suspects, five belt shop organisers andagutkha vendorinto their custody.
During the searching operation, policesearched 300 houses in the colonies and verified the details of the persons staying in them.
Speaking to media, Ramachandra Reddy appealed the people to pass on information to either 100 number or local police station about any illegal activities taking place in their locality and also persons moving suspiciously.
