Rachakonda farmers seek Rythu Bandhu Scheme aid
Farmers, who have been cultivating agriculture lands for years together at Rachakonda and got rights on lands by previous governments, demanded that the government issue new Pattadar passbooks and financial aid of Rs 4,000 per acre to them under the Rythu Bandhu Scheme.

On Monday, under the aegis of various party leaders, the victim farmers took out a huge rally and staged ‘Rasta Roko’ followed by a protest demonstration before the Tahsildar’s office.
Addressing the gathering, leaders of the Opposition parties demanded that the State government issue Pattadar passbooks and provide financial aid under the Rythu Bandhu to farmers, who were having rights on lands located at Survey numbers 273, 192 and 106 in Naryanapur.
They questioned the government, how they cancelled the Pattadar passbooks issued by previous governments after denotification.
Later, farmers along with leaders of various political parties submitted a memorandum to Tahsildar Shiva Kumar for necessary action.
