Stage set for Telangana Formation Day bash in Kothagudem
The entire district has been decked up to celebrate Telangana Foundation Day slated on Saturday. The district administration will conduct a celebration programme at Pragathi Grounds. The ground decorated as well as stage is decorated with the colorful buntings and clothes. The Minster of Excise and Prohibition T.Padma Rao will attend as the chief guest of the ceremony.

All government and private offices in the district are being decorated with colorful lights to mark the occasion. The awards distributions and flat hoisting and other cultural activates will be conducted, said District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanaumanthu. He said, on account of this a special program will be organised in the evening.
On the other hand, the Singareni Collieries Company Limited has also been illuminated with colourful lights to celebrate the occasion. The coal company will also conduct the celebrations programmes at Prakasham grounds. Various department stalls of SCCL have been set up at the venue.
Chairmen and Managing Director of the company N.Sridhar will attend the programme. The SCCL will also organise cultural programmes in the evening at the corporate office auditorium where many famous artists will perform. The SCCL Director Chandrasekhar inspected the arrangements at the Prakasham Grounds on Friday.
