Mahbubnagar: Health Minister C Laxma Reddy on Thursday took part in various development programmes in Midjil mandal on Thursday. The Minister inaugurated new Gram Panchayat buildings, Eedgas and laid foundation stones for the construction of check dams in Urkonda, Midjil, and Paspula villages. He said the State government was working for the welfare of the all sections of the people and at the same time giving equal importance to the development along with welfare.

“Our government is giving equal importance to both welfare and development. We have fulfilled not only the promises given in our election manifesto but also done much more and launched unique welfare schemes like KCR Kits, Shadi Mubarak, Kalyana Laxmi, and Raytu Bhandu.

Apart from giving priority to irrigation, we have also taken up initiatives to improve education and tried to establish Gurukula schools in an effort to provide KG to PG education.

Similar, the Mission Kakatiya, Mission Bhagiratha and initiatives like releasing notifications for various government jobs in police and other departments have been coming out from time to time. Very soon the government is also planning to fill one lakh vacancies,” said Laxma Reddy.

Later the Minister inaugurated Gram Panchayat building at Urkonda and Midjil and also laid a foundation stone for the construction of a check dam in Paspual village under Midjil mandal.
