Olympic Day Run held in Gadwal, Nagarkurnool
The Olympic Associations of Gadwal and Nagarkurnool organised Olympic Day Run in their respective districts on Wednesday.

In Gadwal, Krishna Mohan Reddy, District Olympic Association president flagged off the Olympic Day run. Speaking on the occasion, he said that there is a need for spreading sports awareness in the rural areas.
He stressed that in the present context, sports can give much better career opportunities as the state government is also planning to provide 2 per cent reservation to the sports candidates in education and jobs. In Nagarkurnool, District Collector Sridhar flagged off the Olympic Day Run.
Jakka Raghunandan Reddy District Olympic Association president along with others also participated in the Olympic Day Run held from Gandhi Park to Boys High school. The District Collector felicitated some of the sports persons on the occasions.
