Mahbubnagar: BJP President Dr. Laxman and senior leader Kishan Reddy lashed out at the TRS government for its failures in fulfilling people’s aspirations and keeping promises made before the elections.

Touring Mahabubnagar and Jadcherla, BJP Jana Chaitanya Yatra reached Shadnagar on 3rd day( Thursday). Addressing a public meeting, the BJP leaders said that there was no difference between the TRS and the Congress rather they are the branches of the same tree.

“During the past 4 years, the TRS government delivered nothing on its promise of providing free KG to PG education. KCR had promised to complete the Laxmidevi Pally Irrigaiton project by sitting in a chair near the project. But what happened during the 4 years is known to everyone.

Leave alone taking up the project, there is no talk about it and all the files related to Lamidevi project are thrown into the bin," observed Dr. Laxman, Telangana BJP president.

Reminding KCR's promise of construction of double bedroom houses for all those who are homeless in the state, the BJP president said out of proposed 2 lakh double bedroom houses only 4000 have been completed till date during the past 4 years and that too only the constituencies of his son, niece and daughter. Now there is no talk about the double bedroom houses across the State.

Lashing out the TRS government Kishan Reddy said that the KCR government is misusing funds sanctioned by the Central government and indulging in large scale corruption. "The Central government is sending funds for development, but the KCR government is misusing them.

For every kilogram of Rs 1 rice, the Centre is bearing a cost of Rs. 29. The State government is resorting to large scale corruption and seeking commissions from the contractors of Mission Bhageeratha and Mission Kakatiaya projects in the State," observed Kishan Reddy.

The BJP leaders drew similarities of KCR rule with Nizam rule and said the State government is suppressing the voices of the Opposition. "The KCR government is befriending the MIM party only to gain the Muslim votes and is playing vote bank politics by promising reservations to STs and Muslim minorities in the State," added the BJP president.
