Tirumalgiri (Suryapet): Tungaturthi MLA Gadari Kishore here on Thursday stated that Godvari waters under Kaleshwaram project would help transform Suryapet district fertile.
Speaking to the media at Tirumalgiri, Kishore said a few Opposition leaders because of lack of knowledge on the project had been trying to cause confusion among the people in the district. Kaleshwaram project would provide water to SRSP phase 1 and Phase 2.
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was determined to provide irrigation facility to 1 lakh acres in Thungaturthi Assembly constituency and all measures were being taken to achieve it. MPP K Sathish, ZPTC P Pulamma, Vice MPP S Janardhan, TRS mandal president Raghunandan Reddy and party local leaders participated.
