Allocate Class IV posts to Girijans in PSUs: Speaker

Khammam: Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar expressed his dissatisfaction over the managements of Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in Scheduled Areas as they are not appointing Girijans as Class IV employees. The Speaker, at a meeting at Anjupaka village of Dummugudem mandal in Khammam district on Tuesday, reviewed the progress of various works relating to Tribal Welfare Schemes. He concentrated on the implementation of Rule of Reservation in PSUs in scheduled areas. Officials belonging to Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS), Bhadrachalam Paperboard Limited (BPL) managed by Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) participated in the meeting. ``As per Rule of Reservation, all posts in Class IV categories in these companies have to be given to Girijans.'' he said.
