Vijayawada: The All India Student Federation (AISF) city secretary Ch Raghuveer said that they would conduct model EAMCET entrance test across the State on April 18. Speaking to the media here on Monday, Raghuveer asked the students to utilise the opportunity and attend the model entrance test in large numbers. He accused the coaching centres of exploiting the students and their parents by collecting exorbitant fees. He said the model EAMCET was an effort to create confidence among students. He said that they would also award prizes to students who topped in the district as well as state-level. He asked the government to change rules of the EAMCET. He said that the students of poorer sections were not getting ranks in EAMCET due to lack of coaching facilities. He also took exception to the government decision to oversee conduct of EAMCET examination to only one University for the past couple of years.AISF city vice president Feroz was also present.
