Mahesh Babu opens Rainbow hospital

Vijayawada: Film actor Mahesh Babu inaugurated a Rainbow Children and Women's hospital in Vijayawada on Wednesday. On the occasion, Managing Director of the hospital, Dr Ramesh Kancharla said the Rainbow hospital was one of the largest super specialty chain hospitals in India and it would provide a specialized treatment for mother and child and added that the Vijayawada branch hospital with 150 beds was the biggest one in the category of tier two cities in the country.

The specialized services will be provided to people and the Government's schemes like Rajiv Arogya Sri, ESIC and other health insurance beneficiaries can obtain cash less treatment in the branch, he said. Dr Ramesh further said that Vijayawada was the heart of the coastal Andhra Pradesh and their hospital would provide the world class medical treatment to the people residing in Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, East Godavari and West Godavari districts. On the occasion, he thanked the film hero, Mahesh Babu for accepting their invitation and making the event a grand success. Mahesh Babu said that he was very happy to launch the Rainbow hospital in Vijayawada and had been associated with the Rainbow group for the past six years. "I personally felt happy with the services rendered by Rainbow Hospitals as my son Gowtham and daughter Sitara were born in this hospital," he said. On the occasion, a huge crowd gathered at the hospital to see Mahesh Babu. Keeping the past experiences in mind, the city police made special arrangements to control the crowd at the venue. Hospital Director Dr Dinesh Chakravarthy, Dr Venkata Lakshmi, Dr Farhan Khan and others were present.
