Wife commits suicide, man attempts

Nandikotkuru (Kurnool): Family disputes led a couple to commit suicide in Ramasamudram village of Jupadu Bangla mandal in the district on Sunday. According to details available, Dargaiah was addicted to alcohol and used to harass his wife Lalita in an inebriated condition even ten years after marriage. Following an altercation on Sunday, Lalita committed suicide by setting herself ablaze. After learning her death, Dargaiah also set himself ablaze. He was rushed to the Kurnool government general hospital where his condition is said to be serious. The couple has three children and there is no one look after them. Police registered the case.
