108 Ambulance staff strike enters third day

Kurnool: Demanding solution to their long standing demands, the staff of 108 services continued their strike on the third day on Sunday. They take out a rally from Raj Vihar Centre to the Collectorate removing their shirts. They expressed anguish over the apathy by the government to solve their problems.

Sivasankar Reddy, employees' leader said that the government was not recognizing their services though they have been instrumental in saving the lives of accident and other victims.

They demanded enhancement of salaries keeping in view the inflation and perfect running condition to the 108 vehicles. The people have been facing problems as the government was running the 108 services with the drivers deployed from other regions.
