Hyderabad: The Met office on Thursday warned of thunderstorm accompanied with isolated hailstorm occurring in Telangana on April 11 and 12. It said on Wednesday isolated rainfall occurred in Rayalaseema and Telangana. Amarapuram in Anantapur and Jukkal in Nizamabad district received three cm of rain each, while there was one cm rain in Narayankhed. On Wednesday, the maximum temperatures appreciably fell at one or two places in Telangana.

They were appreciably below normal at one or two places in Telangana, appreciably above normal at one or two places in Rayalaseema. Anantapur and Kadapa recorded the highest maximum temperature of 42 degree Celsius. A report by the Met office said isolated rain or thundershowers may occur on April 10 in coastal Andhra Pradesh; Telangana and Rayalaseema on April 11 and in north coastal AP, Telangana, south coastal AP and Rayalaseema on April 12.

Rain or thundershowers will occur at a few places in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on April 13. The maximum temperatures recorded in Andhra Pradesh were: Bapatla 35, Kakinada 36, Kalingapatnam 33, Kavali 35, Machilipatnam 35, Nandigama 38, Narsapur 34, Nellore 37, Ongole 36, Jangamaheswarapuram 40,Tuni 36, Vijayawada 38, Visakhapatnam 35, Anantapur 42, Arogyavaram 37, Kadapa 42, Kurnool 40, Nandyal 40, Tirupati 39. The maximum temperatures recorded in Telangana were: Adilabad 38, Bhadrachalam 39, Hakimpet 34, Hanmakonda 39 and Hyderabad 36.
