 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the much-awaited Hyderabad Metro Rail project in Miyapur.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated the much-awaited Hyderabad Metro Rail project in Miyapur and took part in the maiden ride.

Speaking at the BJP party meeting, PM Modi said that BJP has not got opportunities to serve the government in Southern India and despite that, the party workers are always working for the common good as they believe in cooperative federalism.

He said that BJP is committed to the overall development of our country and there is no discrimination against states where BJP is not in power.

On the Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Hyderabad where US President Donald Trump’s daughter and adviser Ivanka Trump is representing the US delegation, the Prime Minister said that the world is looking on Hyderabad which is hosting a prestigious international summit where industry leaders across the globe are attending.

Following the meeting, PM Modi along with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Governor ESL Narasimhan inaugurated the Metro Pylon. The 30 km-long first phase of metro rail project between Miyapur and Nagole, having 24 stations was launched by the Prime Minister who took the inaugural run on the train from Miyapur to Kukatpally, and back.

The trains would be open to public starting from tomorrow. Initially, the train would run from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Depending on the train and demand, the timings would be rescheduled to 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. later.
