Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday congratulated the entire Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) team of scientists for the successful launch of their 100th Satellite PSLV-C40 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.

Calling it a pride moment, KCR termed the achievement to be a triumph of the hard work and brilliance of the scientists.

The space agency in its first mission of 2018 successfully launched its 100th satellite from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

The successful launch comes following the setback suffered after ISRO’s failed launch of IRNSS-1H due to a technical glitch just prior to its scheduled orbiting in space on August 31, last year.
