Stating that both the Congress and BJP had cheated AP by making promises on granting special status but not fulfilling them, YS Jagan said the BJP-led NDA government ruled out SCS citing 14th finance commission report not to grant special category status to any state.
He further challenged Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to move a no-confidence motion against PM Modi’s government extending YSRCP’s support in this regard.
