He expressed deep shock and grief at the tragedy. He called upon the party workers to console the bereaved families.
It may be recalled that as many as 45 persons went missing when the ferry they were traveling in capsized near Manturu in Devipatnam mandal on Godavari river. As many as 12 persons managed to swim to safety. The rescue operations are being conducted by NDRF and SDRF police teams.
