60,677 engineering seats filled in AP

The allocation of seats under the convener quota for the AP EAMCET engineering stream were completed on Tuesday.

According to the EAMCET convener, out of the total 86631 seats in the 285 engineering colleges, as many as 60677 seats were filled. As many as 25,954 seats still remained to be filled. Of the 2961 pharmacy seats in 109 pharmacy colleges, only 266 were filled. In the EAMCET engineering stream, 127757 candidates have been qualified and the the certificate verification of 67078 candidates has been completed.

Of these 67078 candidates, as many as 65909 have entered their options. The 6185 seats under the sports, NCC, Physically handicapped and other categories still remain to be filled, according to EAMCET convener Panda Das.
