Couple drive all way from California to Hyderabad

A couple from Hyderabad took the meaning of adventure to a whole different level when they drove their four-wheeler from California to Hyderabad. While it might sound impossible, the couple - Dr Rajesh Kadakia and Dr Darshana Kadakia braved several continents, oceans and islands to arrive in Hyderabad on June 12.

Doctors by profession in the USA, the couple covered a staggering distance of 37,000 km over a period of 61 days.

Born in Hyderabad, the doctor duo began their journey from Muktananda Ashramam in New York. The couple, while sharing their experiences about their life journey revealed that the whole idea was in a bid to spend time together after failing to do so throughout their professional lives.

Dr Rajesh and his wife took a plane from New York to Paris and their car was sent as cargo. The Car was specially designed with advanced features and technologies carrying sophisticated communication devices.

Their journey map went through USA - France - Belgium - Germany - Denmark - Netherlands - Sweden - Finland - Russia - Kazakhstan - Mongolia - China - Tibet - Nepal- India.
