Daggubati Venkateswara Rao Praises YS Jagan

Senior politician, former minister and NTR’s son-in-law Daggubati Venkateswara Rao on Wednesday complemented YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and said he was discharging his duties as the Leader of the Opposition admirably well.

Talking to media persons, he felt that the Praja Sankalpa Yatra has put the YSRCP back on track and the even the TDP is seriously discussing the yatra. He said that Polavaram was a boon for the state of Andhra Pradesh and sought to know why Chandrababu Naidu wanted to take up the construction of the Polavaram, which was a national project.

The centre should have constructed it, he felt. He said he did not believe in Chandrababu’s claims that he had insisted on the merger of seven submergence mandals in AP before taking oath as a chief minister.

On Narendra Modi, he said Modi has no personal benefit and is not selfish.
