Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu announced several sops to Asha workers. The CM announced monthly honorarium of RS 3000. Besit he said smart phones would be distributed to Asha workers.
Interacting with Asha workers at grievance hall today the CM said Asha workers will play key role in distribution of nutrition food to poor. He said Asha workers heping ANMs in implement ing several health programmes.
The Chief Minister said no other state paying fixed salary to Asha workers.He said the monthly payment of honorarium costs exchequer rs 156 cr.
Principal secretary of Health Poonam Malakondaiah said forty thousand Asha workers were present in the state.
