Six-day-old baby abducted from hospital in Hyderabad

A six-day-old baby was abducted from the Koti maternity Hospital in Hyderabad on Monday. The culprit, found to be a woman had taken away the baby girl from the mother, Vijaya in the pretext of administering the vaccination.

However, when the woman didn’t return, the parents lodged a complaint at the Sultan Bazar police station. Police observed the CCTV footage where they saw an unidentified woman, wearing a blue saree holding the baby in her hand. They began the search operation with three teams and gathered information regarding the woman, who is learned to be in the age group of 30-35 years. As per the CCTV footage, she was noticed at the Imliban Bus Stand and boarded a Bidar Bus.

While the police are making efforts to trace the woman, the family members lashed out at the police for not being able to rescue their baby so far. They even criticized the hospital staff for their negligence and suspect the security to be involved in the abduction.
