Providing a ‘Green Channel’ for the transportation of a live heart, the Hyderabad Traffic Police allowed the ambulance to pass through for the entire route from Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills to Global Hospital at Lakdikapul.

The live heart was donated by V Kumar, a 21-year-old and was successfully transplanted to 15-year-old Soma Akanksha from Adilabad district.
According to the reports, the total distance of 8.7 kilometres was covered within 11 minutes, between 10.52 am to 11.03 am.
