Chittoor: In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old woman ended her life just because her brother refused to give her mobile phone. She hanged herself to a tree in the forests nearby her house.
According to the police, Sunitha (22) is the daughter of Balaram Singh, who works in a mango pulp factory in Gollamadugu of Gudipala mandal in Chittoor district. On Monday, she had an argument with her brother over a mobile phone.
She threatened to end her life if he did not give her the phone. On brother’s refusal, she left the home and went into the forests. On Tuesday, she was found hanging from a tree branch. The police have shifted the body for post-mortem and are investigating.
