With Telangana most likely to witness early elections to the state assembly in November or December, a host of public meetings are scheduled.

Following the public meeting of Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Hyderabad this week, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that he would address a massive public meeting on September 3. The meeting would address 20 lakh people near Outer Ring Road on the outskirts of Hyderabad. KCR plans to discuss the government’s achievements in the last four years. Similarly, the Telangana Congress also announced to hold an equally huge public meeting in the state, which would be addressed by Rahul Gandhi again.

Joining the fray of public meetings, Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on Saturday declared that he would address a massive public meeting in Hyderabad in the second or third week of September.

Directing the party cadre of Telangana to make arrangements in this regard, Pawan Kalyan called upon them to be prepared to face early elections in the state.

The Jana Sena leader stated that the party would put up a strong fight in Telangana as well and instructed the party leaders to ensure that at least 15 lakh active workers are enrolled into the party.
