Osmania University declares MBA II-Semester results 2018

Hyderabad: The Osmania University on Monday declared the results of MBA (II-Semester Regular and I-Semester Backlog) CBCS examinations.

The examinations were held from 10th to 21st July. On 9th July a meeting with all the Principals of MBA College was convened by Controller of Examinations regarding conduct of MBA examinations. The meeting was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. S. Ramachandram and he addressed the gathering regarding various advantages of Online Evaluation System. In this connection, the Examination Branch has conducted a Workshop on 23rd July for MBA Faculty Members of OU campus and all affiliated Colleges of Osmania University on “Digital evaluation process and hands on training” at PGRRCDE, OU.

The valuation for around 80,000 scripts was commenced on 25th July at six identified centres for Digital Evaluation (double valuation). The digital evaluation has been completed on 17th August. The processing of results was completed on 18th August and results were rigorously verified by the examination branch and the results were declared on Monday.

The overall pass percentage in II- Semester is 60.15%. The results have been declared within 25 days in a record time from the commencement of the digital evaluation. The valuation process considerably decreased from 65 days to 25days due to introduction of Digital Evaluation System. The results are available on the Osmania University website www.osmania.ac.in.
