Internal squabbles between TDP leaders reached crescendo in Udayagiri Assembly Constituency in Nellore district. The party cadre and leaders are opposing the sitting MLA Bollineni Venkata Rama Rao as the latter is not available to local leaders.
The TDP MLA confined to take up contract works in Maharastra and other parts leaving the party into the lurch. He defeated Mekapati Chandrashekhar Reddy in 2014 elections. Political trends indicated the YSR Congress will win the seat this time.
Leaders said the TDP is not interested to field Rao again from the constituency with the increased number of aspirants for party ticket.
