Hyderabad: A state apex court on Wednesday issued three months stay pertaining to the allocation of 6500 square yards of land to Owaisi Hospital at Mithani in Bandlaguda.

Based on a petition filed by Shaik Aneesha alleging that the land is being given to the hospital at Rs 3.5 crore against the market value of Rs 40 crore, the court stayed the land allocation.

The bench also issued notices to the state chief secretary, district collectors of Ranga Reddy and Hyderabad along with the MIM leaders Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi to file a counter affidavit on the issue.

The land was given by the state government for the extending the Owaisi hospital at Bandlaguda.
