State Government owes builders : Work to be stalled till all dues are cleared

Hyderabad: Telangana builders’ association representatives have stopped all ongoing work with various departments in the state. Projects including the ones which were slated to begin from October 2 have been stalled.

According to the association representatives, the government owes them Rs 6000 crore without the clearance of which, they wouldn't be resuming work. They say the bills haven't been paid since a year. Association president D.V.N. Reddy, vice-president H.N. Reddy met with chief secretary S.K. Joshi on Wednesday and informed him of the same.
