The Cyberabad police on Monday arrested an interstate most wanted dacoit who had been absconding for 6 years.
Patan Mehboob Khan, a native of Anantapur has been accused in 61 cases which were registered in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
"Around 870 g of gold, 1.6 kg of silver and Rs 30 thousand cash has been recovered from the accused," said Sajjanar, Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad.
As many as 22 cases were booked on Patan in Suryapet, Rachakonda and Cyberabad, 28 in Karnataka and 11 in Andhra Pradesh.
