Rains followed by gales which started last night continuing across the morning till this morning. The farmers who kept their harvested paddy in the agriculture fields for drying up shifting to safer places.

The district administration has taken all the precautionary measures to avoid human loss and property loss caused by the cyclone and district administration was put on high alert.

Medical and Health department, department was ready to conduct medical camps and RWS made arrangements to supply drinking water at 47 identified cyclone centres in Tenali revenue division.
