BENGALURU: On Saturday an 18-year-old student who has been pursuing his diploma in engineering had committed suicide, by consuming a pesticide at his residence near Yelahanka.
The 18-year-old has taken this step, as his parents had allegedly questioned him for bunking his classes on Friday.
Darshan J, resident of Nagadevanahalli was a II-year diploma student of the Nitte College. His mother who returned home after attending a function at 11.30 AM, had found him writhing in pain and vomiting. The boy was immediately rushed to a hospital, but was declared that he was brought dead by the hospital officials.
Police have said that the parents of Darshan had scolded him for not going to college on Friday.
