JubileeHills Police asked legal opinion on the complaint lodged by Chigurupati Padmasree, wife of deceased Jayaram. They asked legal experts about the clarity on whether they can file and investigate the case which was already investigating by other state police. The JubileeHills police said that after getting the clarity from the legal experts only they can act on the complaint of Padmasree.

Earlier on Tuesday Padmasree lodged a complaint in JubileeHills police station stating that enquire the case of his husband's murder by alleging that AP Police diluted the case. She criticised that she did not get the postmortem report till date even after asking many times.

She alleged that when she reached their home in JubileeHills from US, found that many valuable documents and articles were missing from her wardrobe. When she asked their watchman he told that Shikha Chowdary came to their house and searched for hours and went away.
