Toddler killed after being hit by unknown vehicle in Hyderabad

A 16-month-old toddler was killed after being hit by an unknown vehicle on Thursday evening here at Vanasthalipuram.
According to the police, the toddler is the second child of Tukaram and Savita who got married 10 years ago. The couple, a native of Kambapur in Kamareddy district moved to Sainath Colony in Vanasthalipuram a few years ago. Their first child was dead soon after getting birth.
Meanwhile, the toddler, Shreshta was born to the couple one and a half year ago. The child was hit by a vehicle while she was playing in front of her house. She was immediately shifted to Rainbow Hospital in LB Nagar where she succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.
The police registered a case and are probing based on CCTV footage.
