A stampede-like situation created at CMR shopping mall in Siddipet after it offered saree for Rs 10. Thousands of women rushed to the mall to get the sarees at the offer price which was arranged inside the cellar.
As many as 10 women were injured after they jostled each other to get into the cellar. However, a woman also lost her 5 tolas of gold chain, Rs 6000 cash and a debit card.
Alerted over the theft, the police reached the shopping mall and are investigating.
