CM KCR to present vote-on-account budget in assembly tomorrow

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will present the vote-on-account budget in assembly tomorrow i.e, on the first day of the four-day assembly session while Minister for Health and Family Welfare Etela Rajendra will be presenting the budget in council.

It is learned that both the houses will be meeting separately around 11.30 am tomorrow to present the budget. According to the sources, the Irrigation department is said to be prioritised to implement major irrigation projects. The government will also discuss the promises made during the elections and will ensure to allocate funds towards them such as farm loan waiver and enhancement of the crop investment to Rs 10,000 under the Rythu Bandhu scheme.

The cabinet will today for the first time to approve the budget here at Pragati Bhavan.
