Close on the heels of Madhulika incident, who was hacked by a stalker for rejecting his proposal, another girl was stabbed by a miscreant on Thursday evening in Ramagundam.
The accused Srinivas who resides in the neighbouring house has professed his love to the victim Sravanti (25) who rejected it. He has been harassing the woman to accept his love.
On the other hand, Sravanti got married six years ago but has been staying at her parents' home for some time. On Thursday, when Sravanti went out of her home, Srinivas noticed her and professed his love. Later he stabbed her and fled the spot after she rejected it.
However, locals who saw the issue shifted Sravanti to a hospital who is undergoing treatment.
