The award was presented by Behtar India Campaign brand ambassador and Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra in New Delhi on Thursday. DHFL Pramerika Life Insurance company managing director Anoop Pabby appreciated the efforts put by the Himanshu and congratulated him for bagging the medal. The school management received the prize on behalf of him.
Himanshu, a Class 8 student of Oakridge International School, Gachibowli is learned to have collected the newspapers, books and recyclable waste from the neighbourhood and school.
